12.5” – SA adj gas block or fixed gas block?
-
Building another 12.5 upper. Wanted to run a SA adjustable gas block since I’ll be running it suppressed and unsuppressed once my can gets out of jail.
However, I’ve been seeing IG posts, stories, and videos from some people to not use AGB on something you’d potentially be trusting your life with.
Depending how it turns out, this will be my primary upper that I run for taking classes, the range, and HD/SHTF.
Thoughts?

With the A5 system and that particular barrel though it may be redundant and unnecessary to run an AGB. In this case I’d suggest going with a standard gas block and adjusting at the buffer to tune your cyclic rate.

What can did you buy?
