What is the best way to prevent rounding off my Speer/Hornady 22 cal bullets when pressing them into the case mouth?

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 6:54 amAs said already, get a top punch that more closely matches the bullet profile you’re using. You want to be seating by pressing around the ogive, not pressing the very tip of the bullet. If you are contacting the tip with your seating stem/top punch, you will deform most soft point bullets; not so much an issue with FMJs.
