    They made this version because the Austrian Army wanted to test out a manual safety duty pistol for their troops. The Austrians quickly realized it was unnecessary and disposed of their safety equipped trial pistols.

    “Brazilian Spec” Glocks have manual safety too!
    One of the local police forces required it and glock complied, Glock 22 for PMESP

    Other than the time, thought and effort needed to manipulate a safty, Did they somehow make the weapon less reliable or functional?
