They are great little guns, especially if you want to train for cheap.

Take that front barrel band off to get a bit more accuracy, or throw it in an after market stock. The band puts weird pressure on the barrel.

I’m on the hunt for a mannlicher 10/22, but I might have to settle with a sporter

How do you like it? I went with the stainless barrel with synthetic stock model, only because the wood stock seemed way too slick for my hands.

Slap on some tech sights, grab a GI style sling and attend a Project Appleseed clinic – very fun way to spend a weekend

Interesting thing to note, ruger sells 3 packs of their 10rd mags.

How do I know? I bought one today.

I also bought that same exact 10/22 last week. I like it, it’s classy.

Congrats. I got mine in 1999. It has fired thousands and thousands of rounds and is still as accurate and reliable as I need it to be while still using the same Simmons scope I got with it at Wally world when they were still pro-2A. A Kidd 2 lb trigger has improved it’s fun factor so much that my wife has taken it away from me for her own use. BX-25 mags are also a good thing.
