He looks like he’s starting to fatten up post-spawn. They’re super aggressive when they’re like that, looks like it was one hell of a fight and catch. Congratulations, tight lines.

You and I both, I’ve just about always been 100% dedicated to trout but this year I had a bass blow up on me at the bank back in April and I found a new hobby. Tight line brother

Nice I took the plunge this year too. Fished for mainly crappie and bluegill as a kid, then exclusively catfish as a teen/ young adult, then onto trout for the last 6 years or so and now that I’ve moved states and jobs I decided to take up bass fishing and I LOVE it. That’s definitely bigger than my pb so far but I’m hoping to break into the 5 lb club soon
