    Just started carrying mine in a kydex holster. I notice a few scuffs that don’t come out.

    My OCD is triggered. Oh well.

    The old finish was so much better, but it apparently harmed the environment.

    YES, I remember someone talking about the USA Glock plant slide finishes not being as durable as the Austrian ones or something like that.

    Mines pretty scuffed in some places but it’s been dropped a few times and carried near constantly.

    My Austrian G43 has as many scuffs after 6 months as my 2006 ish vintage gen 3 G19 does.
    The old finish was more durable.

    Shot 2 mags of my carry ammo through this last weekend and somehow must have gotten a little sand or something in the holster. After taking it in and out of the holster about 5 times I had really bad scratches on the side of the slide. I rinsed the holster out with water when I got home, let it dry and it seems to be better, at least from what I can tell. A little disappointed that it scratched this easily though.
