Anyone fixed a suppressor to a Sig M400?
Switchblade in my case. Starting my long, sad, stamp wait, but seeing mixed info on how easy it is to get the flash hider off and whether to just direct thread the can on. Planning to fit a YHM N20.
Stock flash hider just screwed on or stuck with rocksett?
Is the Sig taper cap actually necessary? Crush washer?

My Sig M400 just had a bird cage A2 with a crush washer. No need for rocksett with a crush washer. I’ve had a couple different SilencerCo brakes on it.
Just back it off with the barrel properly secured. Then install your suppressor mount according to its instructions.
ETA – I think my comment may be less relevant. The new Sig M400 family is very different than the original M400 family.

If the barrel has a tapered shoulder, you’ll need the taper cap to get the 90 degree shoulder for mounting most suppressors.
