Anyone Load for 50 Beowulf or 12.7×42?
Posted by james on November 9, 2021 at 3:59 amI just bought some Speer Deep Curl (Gold Dot) 300gr bullets to load in 50 Beowulf. Elk and deer round.
Anyone load for 50 Beowulf?
I have a Lee 4 die set. I have 2400 and RL 7. Load data I have seen <400gr, 2400, >400gr RL 7.

Personally have never used this cartridge yet. But I have for 450 BM (which is similar in powder selection)

GuestNovember 9, 2021 at 3:59 amI do not have any Lil Gun. I have heard that Lil Gun is a hot powder.
Alexander Arms load data for Speer 300gr Gold Dot lists **Lil Gun, IMR 4227, Hodgdon H4227** and **Alliant 2400** with a **CCI 350** primer. **2400** is all I have in my stash from this list of powders. I use 2400 in my hot 357 Magnum loads.
