Anyone notice how AR-15s barely changed lower, trigger, chamber, and bolt and has stayed almost the exact same through the early 60s?

I notice looking at old ar-15s from the Vietnam war, every thing is almost the same, except for the hand guard, and stock, I’m even sure you can replace everything on them and make them look like a 1600 dollar AR. AR is easily superior to the AK.

GuestJune 12, 2021 at 3:53 amThe B52 Stratofortress was designed in the 1950’s and the air force still flies them today.
When you find a design that does exactly what you need it to, you stick with it. Like crocodiles and sharks.

GuestJune 12, 2021 at 3:53 amI’m not even gonna hang around for the draggin’ on this one. For the other licensed/certified armorers in here, please go easy on the guy. We definitely don’t need another two week long “bears-vs-SOLGW” gang bang.
