If you use Skre how do you like it? How’s the water proofing? And how does it hold up against wind? Good in a tree stand? Let me know!

I have the Hardscrabble jacket, pants, and vest. Can’t tell you anything related to a tree stand but I like them. I wore them for about 10 weeks over the last two years doing guide work and my personal hunting. No major damage. As far as waterproofing; I laid out in about a foot of snow for four hours waiting on an elk to stick his face out the oak brush and never got cold or wet. I froze to the ground but was still comfortable.

I have the hardscrabble pants and a few discontinued pieces I got off campfire. Also just got the Kaibab 300 merino hoodie and bottoms but haven’t used them other than trying them on.

I’ve worn the hardscrabble pants for two seasons. Put them through the wringer this season with 5 days of hard turkey hunting walking through all kinds of thorns and thistles and they hardly show any scratches. Very pleased with the hardscrabble pants. I typically wear size 33-34 pants and got the size 36 for layering which was smart (not too tight or too loose even without layers). Very pleased with the sizing – also they send a free shipping label with your order so if it doesn’t fit just send it back and they’ll send you a new size. The side zips are money for warm weather, but over 70-75 degrees they can get toasty.

I haven’t tried the hardscrabble jacket but I’ve been coveting it.
