GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:19 amHello everyone, putting together my first ar build and ran into an issue. I’m using aero precision mid length gas tube, aero .750 low profile gas block, an aero atlas s-one handguard and lastly a ballistic advantage mid length 14.5 inch gov profile barrel. As per the picture the gas tube is hitting the barrel nut about an inch before the gas tube goes over the hole on the barrel. I have the barrel nut torqued on correctly and appears to be inline with what aero’s manual states in terms of alignment and regardless the tube hits the groves anyways. What do yall think appears to the problem?

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:19 amCould it be possible they sent me the wrong barrel? Just measured it and the gas port is 7″ away. Looked it up and 9″ is the standard for mid length.
