    Not the first I’ve seen a heritage with scratches straight out of the box. They don’t test-fire guns before sending them out either.

    Might be easier and cheaper to replace the entire ejector tube assembly. Heritage lists it at around ten bucks.

    Retouching depends on the tube material. If it’s carbon steel, cold bluing will work. If it’s aluminum or cast zinc, it’ll need something like Birchwood Casey aluminum black.
