    When starting a build from scratch, on a model you’ve owned before, do you put rounds through it before any mods or start changing it up right out of the box?

    Assume you’re already proficient with the model.

    If you are already a competent shooter and have already shot that same model before or frequently. Then in my opinion there’s not really a point to switch. Just my opinion

    I have done both. It all really depends what I am going to do with the gun.

    imo id say pick it up, order everything, and get to shootin while you are waiting for everything to come in
