Recently i’ve been using a decent amount of hotdogs while fishing for catfish. I mix Kool-Aid with a red food dye and garlic powder and have been catching a decent amout. Unfortunately i’ve also been losing a lot of bait in the process. Is there a good way to rig hog dogs?

I used to do strawberry banana jello powder and garlic salt for chicken liver, then freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw. That got it a little tougher but I’m not sure if it works the same for hotdogs.
