I was on the Juanita at Raystown Dam and ended up with 16 smallies. My fishihg buddy caught 15 and 3 rainbows.
16 is way too many smallmouths…said NO ONE EVER!

I caught a smallie on the North branch once that was so big I could put my fist in its mouth without actually touching any part of its mouth. The dang thing shook the spinnerbait out of its mouth and fell off before I could get it unhooked and take a pic (so I guess it didn’t count). Still haunts me to this day. The smallies on the Susky are unreal.

If you don’t mind me asking, what types of bait or rigs were you using? I’m planning a float trip down the Susq within the next month or two.
