If you’re actually loading to 10mm specs and not just longboi .40 make sure you aren’t getting gascutting from having too high a pressure for your alloy, you’ll lose a lot of power and can have reliability issues.

For me… If I run a “real” hard cast its gonna be a WFN. ONLY.
That bullet looks alot like my Lyman 200g TC. Its a real good shooter!! -
I carried a sidearm for back country protection for some years in the Rockies. A Ruger 41 mag with full house Lyman 410459s over H110.
1 is functional reliability.
2 is full power loads with a bullet that’ll cut a deep, permanent wound channel.I’d highly recommend that you use a different bullet. Something like an LBT WFN bullet. There’s no second chances when you’re miles from anyone else or even your car.

What are you protecting yourself against?

180 grain? Or 200?

Nice!! I’ve got a 175 gr lee mold and a Noe 180. Bludot, longshot and AA#9 work really nice.

I load ACME cast 200gr TCs with AA9 as per the Western Powders loading guide. At near max or max loads, I get 1200 FPS average from my Delta Elite.
