**tl;dr** Do it all recipe for .223. 55gr FMJBT, Hodgdon H335, ladder test? Any better starting points? Thank you!
Hey everyone,
So I am a low level reloader, so far Ihave only loaded maybe 1500 9mm rounds and deprimed, and trimmed a few hundred .223 while I research.
I am looking for a simple, do-it-all recipe for .223. I am not looking for the cheapest or the most accurate load, just something that will run well in your average 14.5-18″ AR and be able to hit a man sized target at 300 yards
I am happy to work to a more precise load but you guys could simply give me a starting point, for example what powder and grain bullet you would recommend?
A common recipe I’ve seen is a 55gn FMJ BT with Hodgdon H335 for a generic plinker. Do you guys have better suggestions? Thank you!
