Typically, fishing kayaks are wider than standard kayaks, so your kayak might stick up above that carrier. As long as you tie it down well, it should work fine.

I don’t l I’ll e how the back is vertical. On my Jlow racks the back and bottom are obtuse and the kayaks still seem like they are going to flop out.

These worked fine for my narrow 12′ pescador, but were too short and useless for the wider feelfree Gemini.
