Website says AA alkaline, but is there any kind of risk running lithium instead? I know dick about batteries and electronics, but I have significantly more lithium batteries, and to my knowledge they last longer? As long as I’m not damaging the optic or reducing the life in any way using lithium, it’s definitely preferred.

Should be fine with lithium? I don’t think the cell composition matters as long as the voltage is the same but I could be wrong.

I keep lithium in my old 512 for the simple fact that it sits up for long periods and alkaline batteries will tend to start leaking. You should be fine with lithium, in fact I would recommend especially if you go long periods of not using that particular gun. Hope this helps. 🤙

I keep lithium in mine. They’re way less likely to leak and damage the optic.
