Makers of firearms specific flashlights are RAKING in the dough. Even some of the best enthusiast flashlights are not as expensive unless it’s unique materials or cosmetics. Plenty of lights are potted, durable and bright for under $100. I get adding a decent remote and possible mount (often NOT included with the high cost weapon lights either) will be a cost factor as well, but these lights are very comparable performance-wise to much cheaper *flashlights.*

I miss the days when slapping a 6P or G2 into a Viking tactics mount was totally acceptable.

I really dont understand how a flashlight can be hundreds of dollars. I bought a streamlight for 150 and never had an issue

    What the heck?

You mean to tell me you *don’t* want to spend $200-$300 on a dinky, overpriced flashlight?

I must be in the wrong sub!

Lol spent all this money on my rifle and optics and now I’m out of money so i’m in the same boat…! Here’s a question though why every time I see a light mounted on an AR15 nobody mounts the light on the bottom of the rail directly under the barrel? It just seems like this would be the most logical place, when you put your rifle down it wouldn’t rest on the light no matter which side you put it down on. And I realize in your case you have the bipod but most people don’t have a bipod on thier ar15’s.

Your light is a bit wonky but the range/oven attachment is top notch
