So I recently picked up my first Glock 19.5 and I pretty much wanted to keep it stock since aside from weapons light, night sights, and red dot.

The trigger shoe is really bothersome as I can still feel the safety even when fully pressed down.

I am looking just to replace the trigger shoe and looking for suggestions. I did a quick search online and only saw TAC Overwatch and Johnny Glock trigger shoes for the Gen 5.

Additional Question Unrelated – Does the Glock 17 round magazine sit flush like the stock 15 round magazine or does it extend out a bit further? I couldn’t find any info on this.

Depending on what you’re used to I could see how you would feel it but first I’d recommend you spend some time dry firing and get some more rounds through it before spending money and swapping parts.

If its for self defense, leave it alone. If you’re using it just for the range, go bananas

I just put a Suarez shoe on mine. I don’t know if this would help your particular issue, but it’s another aftermarket shoe for consideration. I didn’t know what I was missing out on with a flat faced trigger shoe until I installed this one in place of the stock one. All other parts of the trigger are completely stock. Have only shot about 50 rounds with it (just put it on this week), but hoping to get in a few more reps this weekend.

If you really want the best out there get a full johnny glock combat trigger system with flat face shoe. If you really just want a different shoe then his shoe is also the best flat trigger out there.
