I totally didn’t think this was satire until I scrolled to the comments.
I can’t say I’m a big fan of either:
Trump had my respect (other than the blatant withdrawal from environmental laws), until January 6th. I genuinely feared for this country’s future on that day, and then we saw the footage of that police officer being crushed. I saw people we all call neighbors actively invade the U.S. Capitol. I know some that went didn’t encourage the violence, but that doesn’t distract from the fact that some of them were there with the ultimate goal of harming our lawmakers. I may not agree with some of the Democrats’ ideas, but Trump did not do enough to stop the riot, to ease the public, to ensure safety.
And then there’s DeSantis, whose war on Disney and marketing himself as Diet MAGA, just doesn’t sound great either.
These radical ideologies on both sides actively make us hate each other. The worst part is that it’s working.
So today, amidst all the division, political mudslinging, and polarization: I just want everyone to know that I still respect you. Left, right, or in the middle (like me!). We’re all Americans, no matter what political affiliation we like to align with.

If it’s Trump versus Biden again, a lot of people are going to see it as a psychological trick.. a “do over” If you want to call it that.
I think if a lot of people had a chance to go back to 2020, they would have voted for Trump and I think if it’s Trump versus Biden, Trump wins 2024.

Ever since I heard the story about that MS-13 guy that yanked and Uber eats delivery driver into his house, dismembered him, and possibly consumed parts of his body, I Don’t want anything to do with Florida or Mr DeSantis!
