Florida residents : where?

As the post title describes. Those of you in Florida, where do you shoot long distances? What are the laws on shooting outside of city limits in local forests or anything? I’m completely new to this so sorry if I sound dumb. I’m just not trying to be limited to shooters world 100 yard lanes while picking up this hobby. Also, beginner budget rifle recommendations would be greatly appreciated too, I haven’t even purchased one yet. Just started thinking about getting into this a week ago

Jtac ranch is the best and closest you will get to tampa. Probably around 30-45 min drive. It’s in lakeland

Also, I’m in Tampa. So the closer to hillsborough county the better
