FN509 issue. Mags won’t drop freely when using the left side release

So lately the mags won’t drop freely only when using the left side release. Since I’m right handed, that’s really the only release I use. The right side release works fine for whatever reason…
Any idea what to look for? I’ve cleaned everything out as much as possible….not sure if I need to strip everything out of the frame and clean those pieces….?
I’m stumped 🤷‍♂️
