For the gas gun shooters: do you care about the position of your gas port in the rifling pattern?

Do you care if your gas port is in a land, on a grove, or half and half? Do you think it’s position effects accuracy? If you had the ability to buy a barrel with the port drilled in a specific place would you?

As long as its a quality barrel, I wouldn’t care where the gas port is.

Does it affect accuracy? I don’t know, but my most accurate barrels have it drilled in a groove.
Bullet imbalance is a big deal with accuracy so having a gas port that does something different to the bullet than the other rifling probably doesn’t do accuracy any positive things.
