I want to SBR my pistol and am new to the process. I have done as much research as I can and want to ask the experts here.
Has anyone used the ATF gov eFile? I am thinking to use this for Form 1 and 4. Is this a good idea or should I be doing this another way?

Efile form 1 is easy. It’s even easier if you’ve done a form 4 with Silencer Shop, as they keep your fingerprint cards on file and send you two copies whenever you need them.
Form 1 takes a couple weeks, they’ll send your approval in an email. That’s what you show law enforcement if they ever need to see it

You can’t efile a form 4. Form 1 takes about a month. Form 1 is what you want, to convert a pistol to an SBR

eFile Form 1s are easy. Hardest part is the prints. I suggest you order some print cards from ATF now.
