i’ve had some glock 19 extensions for couple years now and just wondered why on websites they specify that there are glock 19/23 and glock 17/22 extensions. why do they not go on each other like the oem +2 extensions go on either?

19 & 17 mags have different angles at the baseplate to mag body. Stand a 19 & 17 mag on their base next to each other to see what I mean. Putting the incorrect ext on the mag causes the spring to not be completely straight inside the mag.

Probably because of spring size is my guess.
