Anyone use water depth apps to assist before going out?

Not free but navionics is fairly accurate and they are always updating. I use it to do a lot of pre planning before going out due to the shading options.

I use i-Boating. One time purchase for all of North America maps. Seems to work pretty good for me. No cell reception needed.

Not water depth but ice thickness, get Ice Report. It’s user based info so not 100% accurate but is a fairly good base to go off of.

I get depth charts from anglers atlas, then use an app called map over pro to align them over top of a real map
