Actually, that shows one of the many reasons to significantly reduce the number of firearms in easy circulation in the USA, and to also significantly reduce the number of ***gun-owners*** in the USA, so that there is a whole lot less infringing going on.

But to most of the 2A crowd, its just another justification why they should be able to carry even more guns without restriction so that they can be the one to shoot Officer Chad Walker if he ever stops them on the road and interferes with their right to be an paranoid and delusional asshole.

At the time that Madison (a slave-owner) wrote the Second Amendment, “Well Regulated” meant functional or well working. And Militia most often meant Slave Patrol.

So the phrase: **A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State**

Actually meant: **The North can’t disarm our slave patrols, or our slaves will rise up and kill us all**

As far as: **the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.**

Obviously that was bullshit. Madison did not think his slaves had a right to keep or bear arms. Gun control (meaning slaves were prevented from owning guns) was part of the Second Amendment from day one. In fact, it was whole point of the Second Amendment.

What I fail to see here, is how gun nuts don’t see a problem. You mention gun control, and their first response is “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.” Even though the 2a does well to mention the “well regulated” part.

It’s also abhorrent that a cop gets shot, and they still don’t see a problem with guns, even though they’re also all ”Blue lives matter” people.
