Easier and cheaper than messing with the trust – he can put all of his NFA stuff in a safe or otherwise locked container at your home or a family members. As long as he is the only person with the key/combo, you (or the person storing the items) don’t have access to it and can legally keep it safe for him.

When I worked in Wilmington, maybe less than a third of the office actually lived in Delaware. I commuted from Philly and others came in from Maryland or Jersey. Suppressors are legal in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Do with this information what you will.

This is why lots of people say go trust first time around. As others have said he’d have to transfer each item into a trust so $200+ wait. Ain’t infinite taxation a mother.

I’m no lawyer here but I did stay in a Holiday Inn……

The only way I see this working is if he adds you onto his Trust. By doing that you can lawfully be in possession of the suppressors as they’d be joint property. Any other way and you have to file a transfer thru the alphabet folks.

Lol I moved out of Delaware to NH. Three suppressors later and two more in jail, never moving back.

If he does not have an obscene collection he could consider a relatively small safe only he has the code to that stays on someone else’s residence

I’d reach out to national gun trusts and do whatever they say. They are pretty active on here too, so maybe they will respond to the thread
