I’m having issues getting my SA gas block adjusted. Following the instructions takes about 10 rounds to get it adjusted to minimum recoil. Then about 50 rounds later the BCG stops locking on an empty mag and I’m chasing it the rest of my range time. The barrel is dimpled, I’ve checked gas block alignment, I’m running Winchester .223 factory load. I’m running a BA barrel, carbine length, Spikes gas tube, BCM H2 buffer and spring, and a BCM BCG. Any suggestions?

Get it to minimum, and then back it off just a little more.

What length of barrel? I have the same block with a 14.5″ barrel and im having the same problem. Im having the gas port drilled out about 10% larger to see if that helps.

What others have said, once you get to minimum still give a click or 2. Bulk ammo is shit, inconsistent, and loaded all over the place. Half may be light loads an half may be loaded too much in the same box.

As other have said, find minimum recoil with lock back and turn gas up 2-3 clicks.
