Usually by handing it to them? However if you straw purchase or something, you will be torched. Check your local laws.
Edit: You might not be able to posess a handgun under 21 rn. I can’t remember.

I can speak for Indiana. For my 20th birthday my mom bought me a Glock. She filled out the 4473 and just gave it to me as a gift in the shop right then and there

Step 1, buy handgun.
Step 2, put gun in box.
Step 3, wrap box.
Step 4, give box to family member.
Done! -

You can hand it to them, you could put it in a box and wrap it in wrapping paper, etc.

Constitutionally (and common sense wise). You just hand it to them. Legally, if you’re not sure getting a lawyer to answer this will probably only run you 50-100 bucks.
