How do you center your rear sight when installing sights?
When I tap in the rear sight, I usually take some calipers and use the depth measurement on them to get the rear sight centered on the slide. This time I also used a bore laser to double check and found that I was slightly off and needed to tap the rear sight slightly to the right. I’m now .15 inch on one side and .12 on the other side. I won’t get to the range for a few days to actually check my zero but it made me wonder, does the theoretical midpoint of the slide equal an actual zero?
