How often do you clean your guns (any type)

Always a good wipe down before putting away, total breakdown after hunting season, and during league and tournament season midway through the season I like to scrub em up. Never had a problem

It depends on the action type how thoroughly I clean them but generally, autoloaders get a full teardown between every range day and my pumps get a few passes with a bore snake and some oil after being shot. You want to protect your investment so don’t put your guns away dry and dirty.

With shotguns, i wipe them down every time i handle them to prevent surface rust. But as far as tearing them down and dojng a deep, thorough cleaning, i do that after every season or after theyve been rained on in the field. With my nicer rifles after every use. And my shitbox ar has never heard of “cleaning”

Anytime. For me the smell and just wiping them done is like soothing therapy.

Carbon killer and Bore-Tech for the barrel.
Balistol for everything else -
Kinda curious, how often donyou clean your double barrel?

Mostly once year depending how much I shoot a particular gun. I have several that haven’t been cleaned in years……….
