If I may paraphrase the movie Unforgiven, if you’re gonna die it ain’t gonna be from lack of shooting back.

One has only to look back in history to see how feudalism plays out.

A warrior caste guided by warlords winds up controlling the land, and therefore access to food and water. The legal and ideological pretext for this varies, but is largely irrelevant.

Homesteading and farming and having your own stuff figured out independent of society is great until you look at how farmers and producers have fared throughout history. Generally they wind up at the mercy of whatever forces control the their area.

All the snooty homesteaders love to laugh at the guys who just have guns, but truthfully it is a good prep provided you’ve got water and physical fitness figured out.

If the world ever falls apart, you aren’t going to be toting around multiple rifles. Hell, you probably won’t even have 2 guns. You’re much more likely to carry things like food, a tent, clean drinking water perhaps. People think it’s like video games, and they have the ability to pull up their inventory and equip any one of the dozens of rifles they own.
Guns and ammo are heavy. While it would probably be wise to carry a gun, it would be very unwise to use up space that should be used for other essential items. You’d want something in a widely available round. If you’re in the U.S., that’s probably going to be .22LR, 9mm, 5.56mm, or 12g. Personally, if the world were to fall apart, I’d take one of my weapons and give the rest to my loved ones.

I like the idea and the look of the TS-12 but can never get a feel for function/reliability. How has it treated you so far?

What!?! You forgot the goon tape on the Walther and Aero Lower.

Haha awesome collection. Dig the Staccato/SRO combo.
