    It’s a spent .50 BMG cartridge from WWII. It was made at the Milwaukee Ordnance Plant in 1943.

    It looks like the round has been fired, retrieved and then reloaded because it has the rifling grooves.

    Best guess? .50BMG Stick a ruler behind the round, right where the bullet enters the case and that’ll give you a goodish idea of the size and from there it’d be easy to say for sure, but unless you’ve got tiny hands, I’m sticking with .50BMG

    Start putting it in rifles and pulling the trigger until it discharges, thats what I would do.

Now
