GuestJune 12, 2021 at 8:12 pmWell I could usually hear them while they were killing the enemy so I’m gonna assume that guy could hear it too. We used to do 4 or 5 click infils in chinooks so they couldn’t hear them.

GuestJune 12, 2021 at 8:12 pmThey hear it most of the time. Actually the Taliban dosent run away becuase they hope that they can get close enough to US forces that CAS wont engage them. They know the Americans wont drop ordinance on them if they risk hitting their own troops.
They also know the nearest airbase and roughly how long it takes for CAS to arrive. So taliban only engages US troops for 15 minutes or so and then run away. Its only a few times when they dont hear it.
