I Just got a Glock Starter Pack

Mine was dangerous out of the box. The first time I chambered a round and fired it the cartridge exploded, the whole slide shot back and the casing separated from the bullet and flew out the side of the gun while the bullet went forward. Luckily the chamber contained the blast but If someone had been standing downrange they could have been seriously hurt

I know the answer to all but the rust thing? Not sure what I see there. (I don’t own my Glock yet :p)
