Last year I made a PVC mount for my hull transducer, which worked okay, but would like to move to an actual ice transducer and save a little space – and not get caught up on it when I’m dancing around the hole.

Looks like I have the GT8 or GT10 to choose from, with a wide or narrow beam respectively.

Mostly fishing the common species (Panfish, Perch, Pike, Rainbow Trout) in 6-40ft of water. I do have a few deeper holes in the 100ft range that I’d like to start hitting for Lakers though. 95% lakes/ponds, 5% river setbacks.

I use the gt10 for lakers and its great, its works just as good as my vex in shallower water too but the cone angle needs to be adjusted

    Havent used the gt8

Get the 10, that way you’ll never wonder if it was better than the 8… that’s what I did for this season
