GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:27 pmPro: Can put any stock and foregrip you want on it after a sort wait period
Con: Have to fill out a piece of paper to cross state lines (Very easy and can be good for a year)
I’d do it again

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:27 pmAlso with all the talks of banning braces it would be worth having at least one lower as an SBR so you can be ahead of the application curve.

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:27 pmPros: You can put a stock and a foregrip on it.
Cons: You can’t let anyone borrow it or use it outside of your physical presence and you have to take extra steps when travelling. Also, it becomes a pain in the ass to sell if you ever wanted to.

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:27 pmThe obvious con is the time, money, and paperwork. One other con would potentially be a shorter sight radius, if the front post is on the end of the barrel.
The pros should be just as obvious as the cons. A more compact, better balanced platform.

GuestJune 13, 2021 at 8:27 pmJust do what you want without paying $200. It’s an AR, you can take the short upper off it in like 3 seconds.
