    Does anyone get use imr 4064 in .223 and if so do you get good results

    If that’s all you have, it works fine. But, I wouldn’t waste 4064 on .223. Its not ideal, and better used for full-sized rifle cartridges.

    Very close to Varget in burn rate.
    It’s a pill to get a case full because of the long kernels but it shot sub 1/2 moa with my 223AI with 75 AMAX’s.
    I’d use a drop tube and it should do fine.

    Ive used it for .223. It fills the case tho. My go to has been Accurate 2200

    I have used Accurate AA2230 for years in .223 and it works great! Has the perfect burn rate for a standard AR. Start at 24 grains, but do not go higher than 26 grains.

    Blc2. One hole. Shot 4064 for a while.. Just slightly bigger one hole. Man that was a while ago. Wow.. I think i was running sierra game kings in. 223.

    I used it for years before switching to CFE223.

    It will work just fine, I save mine for 308 and 30-06 now
