Is OpticsPlanet giving everybody the runaround on their orders with insane delays?

Christmas 2020 I decided to treat myself to a bunch of parts to finally build out a lower I’d been sitting on into a 4-pound AR. Most of the items were in stock with the exception of the barrel which said 2-4 weeks and BCG which said 1-2 months. So far I’ve only received a handguard in mid-April 2021. The dates for everything else have continued to slip and now all but one item is showing ship dates of early to mid-2022. Yesterday my barrel said it was shipping in 2 days and today I checked and it’s been pushed back an additional 11 months. My upper is the only item that hasn’t slipped to 2022 and it’s supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks but I feel like that’s going to get pushed back to next year also.
Is everybody getting screwed by OpticsPlanet? A Google search shows that the Better Business Bureau recently suspended their accreditation. I already paid for the orders with my debit card and have the bank records to prove it, yet phone support just told me that I won’t be charged until my orders ship. I called them on it and the support person eventually told me, yes, she does see that I was charged. What gives? OpticsPlanet used to be a good company. I did a fair amount of business with them in 2017-2018 and had great experiences. This is not the OpticsPlanet I remember.

I have two orders for 9mm since Thanksgiving that they said would ship last year. Still waiting, at least they did charge me for it saying they would when it ships. They are just same Cheap as Dirt to me they will never see shit from me again. Don’t take me as being just mad I know ammo is tight so I understand delays but don’t tell me something then change it. Sorry it just gets me. Semper fi.

That’s been every experience I’ve heard of bar one or two.
They haven’t been recommended in a few years by anyone

This is what I’ve heard about Optics Planet. I bought a MantisX 10X Elite from them because they gave me a 15% off plus free shipping and had it the next week. It was enough of a discount that I was prepared to wait but I specifically stay away from them for anything I would want within a reasonable amount of time.

I ordered some 300 blackout from them back in December. They originally said 2-4 weeks and it currently says sometime in August lol.

Anybody know where I can get the Sig 1913 folding piece besides Optics Planet?

I’ve bought from them a half dozen times hoping they get better. Everything I’ve ever ordered from them has been “in stock ships in 2-3 days”. I’ve never received anything in less than a month. One particular “in stock” handguard showed up about 10 months after I completely forgot I ordered the thing.

Am I the only one that’s having no issues with Optics Planet? I’ve had several orders the past 3 months and all have arrived within two weeks.
