The Forgotten Weapons video Ian did of these is hilarious. He couldn’t help but like fun at how weird and goofy these things are. I saw one at a gun show years ago, guy wanted $2,500 for one in “fair” shape. Everyone looked at the price tag and laughed, one even said “I can go to Walmart and get a halfway decent single shot for $100, why would anyone pay so much for this?” The seller scoffed and said “Because it’s a collector’s item.”, like he was doing everyone a favor for selling it. The same guy also had Garand and M1 Carbine parts priced 4 to 6 times more than everyone else, for the exact same mil spec parts from military surplus. If it weren’t for his knack of finding old Iver Johnson and Harrington and Richardson revolver parts, he’d never sell anything.
