When Browning died, his assistants found him clutching the plans to this carbine in his hands – it was a design so perfect that it’s splendor overwhelmed his aging heart, and he died on the spot.
Thanks to modern medicine, mere mortals of the current year can gaze upon the perfect weapon without fearing such a fate.

Ok, yeah the post title definitely is. The gun itself works great though, it’s my fourth prototype of this design. It’s printed in PLA, has aluminum slide rail sections for reinforcement, and runs halfway decent (need to get the feed ramp situation figured out still).
I’ll be adapting it to take AR15 grips over the next couple days – the vertical grip was just a temporary think because I wanted to see what it was like. It’s surprisingly comfy, actually.
When it’s done, it’ll be a 45ACP spitting, 3D printed, super lightweight setup. With a short barrel and a folding brace it’d be a great hiking gun – it weighs about as much as a 10/22, and all the metal parts on it weigh less than just the bolt on 45ACP blowback carbines.
I do need to experiment with Glock and Grease gun magazines – I’d like to find a way to bump up capacity (and not have to rely on 1911 magazines, which just aren’t all that great of a design).

Yeah, good work there! Reminds me a little of a scene in “The Naked Gun”, where Nordburg aka O.J. Simpson first got a pistol, then he adds something, adds another piece and in the end, he ends up with a tank, lol.
