Kimber qc still subpar? I remember reading they took a nose dive at one point. I checked out a stg micro 9 today, I’m thinking on it. $629. May the mob guide me well…….

For practical purposes? Buy a Hellcat, or an LCP if the Hellcat is too big (it’s very small). For thinking a tiny 1911 is neat? SIG and Springfield both make very good ones.

I did some aftermarket improvements on my stainless micro 9, and it’s been dead nuts reliable and accurate, and the tiniest gun in my carry rotation.

Couple of strokes with a file to blunt that SHARP and pointy trigger, steel tritium sights, and the Mcarbo spring kit.

Can’t comment on the STG, but I have the Raptor variant and it shoots very well. I wish there were 8- or 10- rnd mags for it, but after a bit of work on the trigger bits it has a very crisp pull, about as light as I’d want. I have no idea what was going on in that window of rusting guns, wish they’d come out and say something one way or another. I can say I don’t baby this one and the finish is immaculate a few years later. Just barely small enough for a pocket gun. I kind of like that you can rack the slide with the safety on unlike the 1911 platform. Takes a bit of getting used to.

I had a kimber micro rcp in 380. Supposedly a custom shop gun. Could not get through one mag without multiple FTFs. I tried multiple mags and ammo. Nothing helped. Sold it. No more kimbers for me.

    I have a Sig P938 Blackwood. I have never had a failure.
