This is basically tribal warfare. One local tribe swears loyalty to ISIS, another rival tribe is in good relations with the military and local government. Now the age-old rivalry over smuggling routes and other criminal activities is covered by the pretense of terrorism, politics, and holy war.

This is more than likely just a propaganda video. Not a single one of these “Egyptian soldiers” are carrying weapons, so it’s likely ISIS had previously captured them, then released them to shoot this video. Notice how the camera turns on just as they’re jumping out of the truck and how they seem to know where all of their targets are already. ISIS is dumb, but they’re not dumb enough to just stand out in the open and charge into combat solo.

Please do some fact checks before sharing, those are not from the Egyptian army, those are locals who helped the army. These pigs will only show you footage where they kill innocent unarmed civilians and not the footage where they get fucked by trained military soldiers because they’re as trained as a 12 year old fortnite player.
