Hi, I would really appreciate any help I can be given here.
In June, I purchased a suppressor and tax stamp via Silencershop and a couple days later used the Silencershop kiosk at my local gun store. July 5, I got an email saying that my check was cashed and the wait began. July 14th, they announced on their Facebook that they were closing and that any NFA concerns would he handled at another location owned by them. Sometime in August or September they closed their doors. Today, out of curiosity I called the ATF to see what the status was, and I was told my suppressor was approved September 10th. After doing some online research, I can’t find any other gun store owned by them, their phone number is disconnected, and there’s no redirect to another gun store. I called Silencershop and talked to the salesman who works with the LGS and he told me that he would email them and that their SOT and FFL are still active. I’m awaiting an email or some sort of contact from the owners of the LGS, but if I don’t hear from them, what should I do? Call the ATF, call the police? This is my first suppressor and I have no idea what I need to do.
EDIT: Further research shows that at least one of the owners is living in Romania. A friend messaged both owners on Facebook (I don’t have Facebook otherwise I would make contact) and was left on seen.
