I had a few failures to go into battery, and at least a dozen light primer strikes.

Gun is a G45 with a couple thousand rounds through it and zero malfunctions before today. The Agency slide was using the stock factory internals, with the exception of an Overwatch Precision NP3 coated safety plunger. The frame is stock except for an NP3 coated OEM minus connectors. Gun was freshly lubed with Cherry Balmz.

Any ideas as to the cause of the malfunctions?

I’m pretty sure lube is the culprit for the failure to go into battery. I’ve used Cherry Balmz on Glocks for a while so I didn’t even think the tighter tolerances on the Agency slide might not like a grease.

Could be a thick layer of cerakote on the slide. Try racking the slide a bunch of times non stop till it fully goes into battery
