Little 3.5g sinking lure, how do i fish it?
Planning to fish a resevoir with a rocky/weedy bottom for peacock bass and tilapia and dont really want it to get snagged. The spot is pretty pressured too if that helps

3.5G is really light, so you’ll need an ultralight outfit to cast it unless you add some weight. Cast it close to structure and crank or jerk it back. It won’t sink very fast.

This is tiny but Rapala Countdowns are one of my favorite lures because of the control you have over depth. I cast it and try different depths until I get hits. Then maybe switch to a more depth specific lure, if even necessary.
