Looking for 5.45 ar
I’ve been looking for 5.45 ar-15 or parts to build one but i cant find anything. I am new to the gun world and ant buy a 5.56 ar cause o f my countries gun laws so that’s the reason I’m going for a 5.45 option.

The only 5.45 barrel I have seen was made by Faxon.
Doubtful you’ll be able to get most of any parts from the US into your country though.

FYI – you can’t export completed firearms or firearm components/parts from the United States without an export license from the US Government. And, you cannot apply for an export license from the US Government if you are not a US person (US citizen or permanent resident).
Your only real option for exporting a firearm/parts is to purchase from a US seller who would apply for an export license on your behalf. I can tell you there is a 99.9% chance that no US seller will actually do that.
Frankly your best bet is to purchase a firearm in your own country. If you’re prohibited from doing so because your country doesn’t allow private ownership of firearms or certain types of firearms then you’ll never be able to import them anyways, even if you found an exporter willing to work with you.

They call it an AR-74.

I do not know if you could even get one.
But Smith&Wesson made 5.45 ARs for a few years. M&P-15R was the model.
